Feel More Supported in Your Body in 2 Minutes
Breath is the first support and always available

Try this with me ........
Before reading on:
-
You can do this sitting or standing
-
Breathe in through your nose (this is important) and feel your ribs widen
-
Breath out through your nose of mouth slowly and keep the breath going until you feel like breathing in again
-
Do 3 breaths like that
Now notice:
-
Do your shoulders feel a bit less tense?
-
Does your body feel a tiny bit heavier or more grounded?
-
Is if difficult to do?
When you breath in through your nose as you move, that inner strength switches on.
That breath you just used wasn’t new it’s always been there.
Over time, the aim is to feel that same support with every breath.
When you’re lifting something, have a sore back and nervous about getting out of bed or even just standing up.
You’re Not Starting From Scratch
That breath you just felt switch on? That wasn’t new.
It’s been there all along. Same with strength.
If you’ve been walking or or carrying the shopping, or climbing stairs or getting up off the floor, you’ve already been using strength.
You might not call it “exercise,” but your body doesn’t care. It all counts.

What we’re doing here isn’t “giving” you strength, it’s helping you notice what’s already there and then building on it.
👉 Remeber you’ve already been strong.
Now we are going to do this with movement
I want you to do either of the following, you choose which sounds best for you
1. While seated, I'm going to invite you to stand up after breathing in through the nose and holding it until you stand.
2. Or while standing want you do you a squat down, hold that squat for 5 seconds and then breath in through your nose before standing up straight again.
Do you notice anything different doing this movement? If so, what was it? Where did you feel it? If you're not sure, try it again a few times until you do notice something and take note of it.
Moving Forward
Strength, balance, confidence - those are the things most of us want. But they don’t start with heavy workouts or pushing harder.
They start here:
-
Noticing instead of running on autopilot.
-
Letting your breath give you support.
-
Seeing the strength you already use every single day.
