THE WORK
ME
I believe helping clients connect with their bodies and enjoying the journey is my primary goal however that may look like for each person
This then lays a solid foundation for strength and better movement patterns so you can do anything you set out to do
My work has forced me to listen to my body and what it's trying to tell me and work to stop fighting the process. I've learned that if I neglect the messages it ultimately leads me to sickness, injury, and or exhaustion
What does this mean?
It could be an extra long warm-up, more space, hydration, sleep, or more movement
Or
Listening to what is tight or am I experiencing muscle spasms and unsure of what to do? Quite often the answer could be to create some lengthening in the muscles or mobilising the joints to get some relief or checking on nutrition and hydration
We just haven't been taught to listen to our bodies, we've been taught to battle with ourselves and fear what we don't understand. But what if we looked at our bodies with a sense of wonder or an experiment? How would that change the way we went about looking after ourselves?
Sometimes going to a doctor is absolutely necessary AND sometimes, if we listen to the messages and create some movement ALTERNATIVE habits, we MIGHT find the answers ourselves
The changes we make are small changes that can be adopted each day to make it doable and not overwhelming. This is an example of choosing not to fight anymore. Not being at odds but creating a plan and making the necessary tweaks as you go. The goal is still achieved, AND THE PROCESS is much more enjoyable because I'm you are fighting with the outcome.
Remain in the doing, AND enjoying the journey
Through this journey, I get to meet some pretty cool people. People who want to move better, connect more with what they can do. Believe in what they are capable of doing, are willing to make the tweaks and enjoy the process
The Practice
One to one
In -person & Online
In -person
Small group session max 3 people
For those who like classes these small group sessions mean that you get my knowledge and experience AND you get it in small groups!
With no more than 3 people in any session you get my eyes on your movement more than you would in a large group where you would just try and mimic the movement
